Conditions for exemption from college English test in online education
Those who meet one of the following conditions in online education may be exempted from taking college English courses.

Bachelor degree or above.

National education series (including undergraduate) students with bachelor degree or above.

Obtain English proficiency test certificate

Except for English majors, those who have obtained PETS-4 and above certificates, Public English Test System -3 and above certificates, and adult education degree English test certificates organized by provincial education administrative departments.

At least 40 years old

Non-English majors who have reached the age of 40 at the time of registration.

Minority students

In addition to English majors, define ethnic minority students whose household registration is in areas where ethnic minorities live in concentrated communities (see the Implementation Opinions of the Ministry of Education on the Pilot Work of National Unified Examination for Some Public Basic Courses of Network Education in Modern Distance Education Pilot Universities (Jiaogao [2004] No.5).
