1. This certificate is no longer subject to annual inspection. Does the holder need further education?

A: Continuing education is needed. Continuing education is the basic requirement and necessary guarantee for banking practitioners to maintain professional standards and pursue professional ethics. At the same time, China Banking Association provides examination, certificate registration, registration and inquiry, continuing education and other services for the majority of certified personnel and financial institutions.

2. Can you introduce the basis of relevant requirements for continuing education?

A: The professional qualification of banking practitioners is a national professional qualification with rating announced by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. The relevant requirements and management of continuing education shall be implemented according to the Regulations of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on Continuing Education for Professional and Technical Personnel. The holder shall abide by the relevant study discipline and management system and complete the required continuing education hours.

3. How to calculate the cycle of continuing education?

A: From the year after the qualification certificate is approved, each natural year is a continuing education cycle.

4. Can you elaborate on the class requirements for the holder?

Answer: The holder's time to participate in continuing education should be no less than 90 hours per year (each cycle).

Among them, in addition to studying in the online education system for banking professionals in China (hereinafter referred to as "online education system of BOC Association"), you can also complete at least 30 hours of face-to-face lectures or online training organized by banking regulatory authorities, China Banking Association and local banking associations, financial institutions, universities and other qualified education and training institutions.

The remaining at least 60 hours can be completed by participating in other activities such as self-study or work practice. Specifically including:

(1) read financial newspapers and books every week on average 1 hour or more;

(2) Listen to/watch financial information 1 hour or more per week on average;

(3) Participate in at least 1 financial research projects;

(4) Attending financial-related academic exchange meetings 1 day (inclusive) or more;

(5) Participate in and pass the national financial related professional and technical qualification examination of 1 or above;

(6) Published more than 1 article (inclusive) in the economic and financial periodicals with the national uniform number (CN);

(7) Publicly publishing more than financial books 1 book independently or in cooperation with others;

(8) Engaged in financial related work in that year.

The above three items meet the requirements and are recognized.

5. What is class registration?

The hours obtained from studying courses on the online education system of the Bank of China Association are automatically included in the continuing education hours. Attending other face-to-face lectures or online training organized by the banking supervision department, China Banking Association and local banking associations (academic and public), financial institutions, universities and other qualified education and training institutions can also be counted as class hours, but students need to register through the online education system of China Banking Association.

6. How to register for class?

A: Students fill in the necessary registration information in the "My Study" column of the online education system of the Bank of China Association through the "Class Registration" function. After the materials are submitted and approved, they can be counted as continuing education hours. The examination office will not regularly check or spot check the registration information of class hours, and the examination office will punish the holders who practice fraud according to the circumstances.

7. I have started studying. What should I do now?

A: Students can check the number of hours they have completed on the online education system of China Banking Association through the "My Learning" function in the online education system of China Banking Association, and refer to the table below to determine how to implement it. Examples are as follows:

(1) Xiaoming's continuing education cycle begins before July 3, 20 19, and lasts from July 3, 20 19/day to July 3 19. He should study according to the new regulations from 2020.

(2) Xiaohong's continuing education cycle started from 20 18, and she studied on the online education system of China Banking Association before July 3 19. She should study according to the new regulations from 2020.

8. How do multi-card holders continue their studies?

Answer: Continuing education hours are required to be implemented according to unified standards, regardless of the number or level of certificates held, not less than 90 hours per year.
