Guangzhou No.2 Middle School was founded in 1930, was named as the key middle school in Guangzhou in 1956, and was named as the first batch of provincial schools in Guangdong Province in 1994. In 2007, it passed the acceptance test of national demonstration ordinary high schools in Guangdong Province.
