The mission of all things is to express their essence while developing themselves, that is, to declare the existence of God through external things. Man's special mission is to consciously and freely understand and clearly understand man's essence-the inherent law of God's unity. Use your own decision and freedom to realize it in your own life and make it active and manifest.
"It is people's education to inspire and guide people who exist as conscious, thinking and knowing places, so that they can consciously, wholeheartedly and independently express their internal laws (that is, things with the nature of God) and suggest ways and means for this."
Froebel defined human education in this way, and defined the above things as universal principles. In other words, education (teaching and training) is adaptable and maintainable. We have to wait until a clear self-awareness awakens, and then use purely prescriptive, demanding and imperative methods; Education has two attributes (active and passive, fixed and movable, restricted and liberated); Between the educator and the children of the educated (demanding and obeying), there must be a third party to seriously show their supreme kindness and justice, and so on.
After talking about the principles of educational methods, Froebel went on to talk about the images of educated people and people in infancy.
"No matter who you are, you should regard it as something with the nature of God. It appears in the image of a human being or has already appeared. You must regard it as God's love, God's closeness, God's grace guarantee and God's gift, and recognize and protect it according to its immortal nature. "
That is to say, before anyone is born on the ground, he must be regarded as expressing the infinite in the finite, the eternal in the temporary and the inevitability of things in the sky from underground, and anyone can be recognized and educated. As a member of human nature, children have been recognized as human beings since childhood. They are considered to have the possibility of moving from locked father-son and racial relations to open human beings. Children must reconcile the present, the past and the future of the development of human nature, and ensure that their own interior has the unity of God, the diversity of nature and the dominant position of human personality.
Therefore, in infancy, we must understand, treat correctly and take special care of children according to their nature, so that they can use their abilities freely and comprehensively. The principle that constitutes the core of Froebel's early childhood education lies in this view, which is the view itself.
As Froebel's educational heritage, the following propositions are valuable and noteworthy principles of modern education: First, children reveal pure human life in their initial feelings of self-awareness, which is produced through the development of common feelings between people, so we should pay attention to children's environmental problems.
"The eyes and expressions of people around children must be pure, selfless and firm enough to arouse children's trust and cultivate children."
Secondly, it is harmful to understand human development as continuity and divide it into stages and think that there is no continuity between them; There is no fault in development, but mutual penetration and continuous development.
In addition, "people should not make other efforts at all stages of their development, except those required at that stage."
Of course, people's education is not limited to infancy. Froebel explained the significance of each development stage and the methods adopted in the second chapter. The definitions of games, food, clothes and schools, the definition of family education and the combination of teaching subjects, families and schools tirelessly describe how their basic principles work.
The second chapter of the book is "early childhood", the third chapter is "childhood" and the fourth chapter is "student period". Finally, the fifth chapter summarizes the whole paper.
The question we must consider when educating our children is: "The kingdom of heaven is a spiritual field, so … we should pay attention to cultivating the spirit that exists universally among our children, thus forming the original human thing, that is, forming the unique spirit that God shows as a human being in an individual." Only in this way can we adapt to the various needs of citizens and life, ordinary people can be formed, and human education can be nearly completed.
