Changed its name. In the institutional reform, the former Education Bureau, Science and Technology Bureau and Sports Bureau merged and renamed as Education, Science, Technology and Sports Bureau. The functions of the three departments were merged, and the original three government departments were streamlined into one. The application planning and project implementation of the development of education, science, technology and sports within the jurisdiction shall be managed by the Education, Science, Technology and Sports Bureau. Among them, two deputy directors are responsible for science and technology and sports respectively.
