1994 seven-year compulsory education was cancelled. Because of 1994, China began to implement nine-year compulsory education in an all-round way, extending the original seven-year compulsory education in primary and secondary schools to nine-year compulsory education. Compulsory education is a compulsory education for all school-age children and adolescents and a public welfare undertaking that the state must guarantee. The quality of compulsory education is related to the healthy growth of hundreds of millions of children, the development of the country and the future of the nation.
