When was the College of Adult Education of Jimei University renamed as the College of Continuing Education?
The College of Continuing Education of Jimei University was established on February 5, 20 14 and 14 on the basis of the former College of Adult Education and the Crew Training Center of Jimei University.

The College is a well-known continuing education base in Fujian Province, a national key vocational education teacher training base, an important national maritime education and crew training base, and the only institution in Chinese mainland authorized by the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport to carry out competency training for seafarers in Taiwan Province. At the same time, the college is also a branch of Jimei University, the Central Agricultural Cadre Education and Training Center, the Fujian National Computer Rank Examination Center, the Fujian Self-taught Examination Learning Service Center, the only research base of higher education self-taught examination in Fujian Province, and the pilot unit of comprehensive reform of higher education self-taught examination in Fujian Province.

It can be seen that it is not a simple name change.
