Jinling Scripture Carving Office is a well-known Buddhist cultural institution in China. It was founded by Buddhists in Yang Renshan in the fifth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1866). As a Buddhist Dojo, a place to engrave and spread scriptures, it has made great contributions to the revival of modern Buddhism in China. For more than 40 years, Yang Renshan lay people have been giving lectures and carving scriptures here, carving more than one million volumes and printing more than 100,000 Buddha statues, and established Buddhist research and teaching institutions such as "Destroying Classics Society" and "Buddhist Research Association", which opened a new trend of modern Buddhist education in China and had a far-reaching impact on subsequent Buddhist research and education. Ouyang unexpectedly failed to get in touch with Mr. Lu Cheng and others, and re-established the inner courtyard of Zhina, and studied the method intensively, which had a wide influence.

Jinling scripture engraving office is based on the study of Buddhism and takes the printing of scriptures as its career. For more than a century, it has experienced ups and downs, but the lamp of wisdom has not been extinguished. Revived in the 1950s, more than 100,000 books from Sichuan, Beijing, Tianjin, Changzhou, Suzhou and other places and the paper type of Universal Collection gathered here. In the early 1980s, Buddhism was revived with the efforts of Zhao Puchu, president of the Chinese Buddhist Association. At present, Jinling Jingke office is thriving and full of vitality. It completely retains the traditional crafts of ancient China, such as woodblock printing, woodcut watermark, thread-bound letter sleeve and so on. It is the publishing center of China's woodcut Buddhist scriptures all over the world, and also the cultural relic center for collecting woodcut Buddhist scriptures.
