Colleges and universities established according to the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall use corresponding names according to their levels.

Article 26? The establishment of institutions of higher learning should use corresponding names according to their levels, types, disciplines, scales, teaching and scientific research levels.

Article 27? To apply for the establishment of an institution of higher learning, the following materials shall be submitted to the examination and approval authority:

(a) the tender report;

(2) Feasibility demonstration materials;

(3) Articles of association;

(4) Other materials required by the examination and approval authorities in accordance with the provisions of this Law.

Article 28? The articles of association of institutions of higher learning shall stipulate the following items:

(a) the name and address of the school;

(2) the purpose of running a school;

(3) the scale of running a school;

(4) subject setting;

(5) the form of education;

(6) Internal management system;

(seven) the source of funds, property and financial system;
