Generation of coupling effect
So, why is there a coupling effect in interpersonal communication and learning? After research, it is generally believed that there are several reasons:

The first is the linkage effect of coupling. In a group, individuals are coupled, and the closer the coupling, the greater the role of linkage. The essence of learning is also an interaction, which includes interpersonal interaction, social interaction and self interaction, that is, the dialogue between me and myself. This interaction is very important because of class coupling. Without this kind of coupling, interaction would be difficult and learning would be impossible. It can be seen that the coupling effect is inseparable from the coupling linkage.

The second is the emotional effect of coupling. Generally speaking, as long as there is coupling between people, there will be emotional reactions. Psychologist Li Lei summed up eight emotional reactions of interpersonal coupling from thousands of reports on interpersonal relationships: that is, the attitude and behavior of management, command, guidance, advice and education issued by one party will lead to the respect and obedience of the other party; The attitudes and behaviors such as consent, cooperation and friendliness issued by one party will lead to the assistance and gentleness of the other party; Attitudes and behaviors such as help, support and sympathy from one party will lead to the trust and acceptance of the other party; The attitude and behavior of one party such as respect, trust, praise and asking for help will lead to the persuasion and help of the other party; The shy, polite and obedient attitude and behavior of one party will lead to the pride and control desire of the other party; The attitude and behavior of resistance and doubt from one party will lead to punishment and exclusion from the other party; The attitude and behavior of one party such as attack and punishment will cause hostility and resistance of the other party; The fierce, refusal, exaggeration and other attitudes and behaviors of one party will lead to the distrust and inferiority of the other party. In interpersonal communication, we may react according to these eight modes or other modes, but we can see that interpersonal coupling reaction is influenced by emotional factors. What is given to the positive will be a positive response. Is this what we often say, "Those who are near Mexico are black, and those who are near Zhu Zhechi are black"? It can be seen that the coupling effect is the result of emotional factors.
