Colleges and universities gradually strengthen the educational activities of "self-education, self-management and self-service" for college students. Among them, self-management is a process in which individuals actively use cognitive and behavioral strategies to manage their own thinking, emotions, behaviors and environment by objectives, which is of great significance to people's study, life and even lifelong development. Self-management emphasizes individual initiative, goal orientation and the use of behavioral and cognitive strategies. Especially in learning, Zimmerman and others define learner self-management as a process in which individuals actively adjust their own situation, learning behavior and environment to achieve their learning goals. In other words, we should fully mobilize students' subjective initiative, effectively integrate self-resources, and carry out a series of activities of self-awareness, self-planning, self-organization, self-control and self-supervision, so as to complete the learning objectives. Self-management in the learning process means that learners should first set a suitable learning goal for themselves according to the surrounding environment and their own conditions, and use appropriate methods to study around this goal. In the process of learning, they should effectively supervise and manage themselves, constantly evaluate and motivate themselves in the learning situation, reasonably adjust their learning goals and finally realize their learning goals, which is the self-management of learners.
For college students, with the growth of age and the accumulation of knowledge and experience, on the one hand, the ability to understand, analyze and solve problems has been greatly improved, and at the same time, the sense of autonomy has been continuously enhanced, and they will gradually get rid of their dependence on family and school and seek their own independence and development in life, study and work. On the other hand, in the increasingly competitive society, the constant updating of knowledge and information and the rapid development of science and technology require competitors to have the ability of independent learning, independent thinking, independent exploration and independent innovation, which puts forward higher requirements and challenges for college students to master new knowledge. Therefore, changing the thinking mode of college students' passive learning and cultivating their self-management ability in learning not only conforms to the law of college students' ideological and psychological development, but also helps them adapt to social development as soon as possible, lay a good foundation for future development, and help them fully release their self-awareness and develop healthily. This is the demand of college students' own development and social progress.
