The main responsibilities of Sanya Education Bureau are:

(a) to implement the principles, policies, laws and regulations of the Party, the state and the province on education and language work in the whole city, to implement the decision-making arrangements of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, and the policies and measures of China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and China Free Trade Port, and to study and put forward opinions and suggestions on the education work of China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and China Free Trade Port.

(four) to organize and implement the supervision, evaluation, inspection and acceptance of education at all levels in the city according to law. Responsible for the supervision, inspection and evaluation of the performance of the district people's government in fulfilling its educational duties, the performance of the education administrative departments in each district and the running of educational institutions at all levels. To monitor the development level and quality of all kinds of education in this city; Responsible for organizing the special inspection of major educational issues in the city.

(5) Coordinate and promote the development of schools at all levels and promote education equity. Responsible for the coordination and management of preschool education, compulsory education, ordinary high school education and special education in the city, and fully implement quality education. Coordinate and guide the education of ethnic minorities, and coordinate the support and help for education in ethnic minority areas.

(six) responsible for the development and reform of employment-oriented vocational education, responsible for the overall planning and coordinated management of vocational education. (ten) in accordance with the authority and procedures, responsible for the school management of all kinds of schools at all levels in this city; Responsible for guiding the establishment, establishment, alteration and cancellation of public schools (kindergartens), private primary and secondary schools (kindergartens), secondary vocational and technical schools and private high schools in the city, as well as the annual inspection of private secondary vocational and technical schools and private high schools, replacing school licenses, enrollment brochures and advertisements, and organizing the implementation of municipal kindergarten grade evaluation.
