What is the college entrance examination?
College entrance examination (full name: National College Entrance Examination for English) is an entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities in People's Republic of China (PRC) (excluding Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province Province). It is a selective examination for ordinary high school graduates and candidates with the same academic ability.
The general college entrance examination is held on June 7th and 8th every year. In some areas, the examination is extended to June 9th due to its subject arrangement.
The national unified examination for enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities is authorized by the competent department of the state or independently proposed by the provincial education examination system; Unified scheduling by the Ministry of education, the provincial admissions examination committee is responsible for the implementation and management. The Ministry of Education requires that the names of examination subjects in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) are the same as those in the national unified examination, and must be consistent with the national unified examination schedule.

College entrance examination registration steps
There are three steps to register for the general college entrance examination: first, fill in the information online, then confirm it on the spot (confirm whether the information form is correct, take photos, sign and get the admission ticket), and pay the fee online. In addition to the college entrance examination registration fee, art and sports candidates also need to pay the examination fee for art and sports majors.
