China's educational exploration series II: What is the target of educational service?
In the previous chapter, we demonstrated the essential attribute of education: teaching students to correctly understand the objective existence, understand and transform the world, turn the comfortable into mine and serve mankind. Specifically, education is a social production tool to create advanced consciousness (theory) and scientific and technological ability for human beings. Cultivate people who have this kind of advanced consciousness and use this tool. This is the essential attribute of education, and others such as physical quality, psychological quality, ideological quality, moral quality, professional quality, aesthetic quality and technical quality are all non-essential attributes of education. Giving up the essential attribute of education and grasping the non-essential attribute will put our education in a dilemma. Our previous pedagogy was mostly divided by class, and the essence of education, the purpose of education and the object of education service were often confused, which made our education fall into chaos. What is the target of educational service? This problem seems simple, but it is actually a complicated process, which needs to be confirmed step by step in order to convince people and solve the mystery in education. Some people say that in the essence of education, don't you point out "serving mankind"? Serving humanity is the ultimate service goal (object) of education. In this ultimate service goal (object), politics, economy, science and so on are also serving mankind. Where should the characteristics of educational services be highlighted? Where does it work? What lever is used to serve mankind? In other words, what is the target of direct education services? This is a problem that we must understand in education! Otherwise, China's education will always be in the same place, and it will never jump out of the palm of the Buddha's hand; China's education will never produce a Nobel Prize winner, and it will never squeeze into the ranks of world-class universities. The scope of educational services, technology! Agricultural production mechanization! Advanced productivity! Scientific management! This is where our education service lies:' Education serves social production, social and economic construction, advanced productive forces, scientific and technological development and scientific management! Only by creating advanced productive forces through science and technology can education achieve greater economic benefits, meet people's growing material and cultural needs, and then serve mankind. This is the specific goal of our education service. Education is not for that person or that class! It embodies Deng Xiaoping's great theory that science and technology are productive forces. Of course, don't forget that our education is also aimed at cultivating professionals in politics, economy, law, sports, culture, education and health, but these are all cultivated on the basis of social development and production services. Limitations of our party's educational policy Today, our socialist country has opened to the outside world, social production has expanded to the international field, and foreign enterprises have flooded into the China market. China's economy has been in line with the world economy. Under such a big environment, background and space, our education must grasp the essence of education and the object of service. The education policy formulated by the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is: "Insist on education serving socialist construction and people, combining with production and social practice, and cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty". This education policy seems to be too stingy. In the economic construction of the real world, we did, gave and ran away. Are there still few international students trained by our education for more than ten years to serve foreign capitalist countries? Similarly, don't the talents trained by capitalist countries come to China for economic construction? * * * Why don't you take a long view and broaden your horizons? Serve the people, what kind of person? How to serve? Is it like Mao Zedong calling on young intellectuals to go to the countryside, taking hammers from workers and hoes and sickles from farmers? Did you see the scene of China farmers facing the loess and facing the sky forty years ago, frozen in today's fields and indifferent to work? What do you need our education for? How do we grasp the essence of education and the object of education? Farmers have given their children to us for education for more than forty years. What have they done? Why not create some productivity for farmers? Liberate farmers from a little manual labor. No wonder it is difficult for the college students we educate to find jobs, because all we train are employment-oriented talents, not entrepreneurial talents or creative talents! What our society needs is precisely entrepreneurial talents and creative talents! Not a simple service talent, not a do miss, a lover, a mistress, or even a service talent who stinks for the rich and celebrities, but a knowledgeable service talent! No wonder some upstarts are arrogant to the extreme, trampling on our female college students and proudly saying, "Although I have never been to college, you college students still serve me." Think deeply! Education expert! Leaders! Professors! Teachers! When you stood in front of the stage and praised the great achievements of educational reform, didn't you find that you took the bus to grab seats with the elderly? Dyed with colorful hair, combed with strange hairstyles, and waddled into public places like nobody's business with mp3 and mp4 in their ears; Game halls and Internet cafes are the places where they live. Worship stars to the point of madness, idols dare to show three points, she dares to show three inches; Even some public trial games, cohabitation, adults will run away from home with a little discipline? Isn't all this worth pondering? Can we cultivate Nobel Prize winners in such a narrow circle of our education policy? Can our higher education squeeze into the top 100 schools in the world? What is even more pitiful is that quite a few of the college students we have trained have no ambition, entrepreneurial spirit, broad horizons and broad minds! There is a huge market in the urban-rural fringe, either to start a business or to develop. Always rely on big cities to find employment opportunities, feel inferior when encountering setbacks and blows, give up on yourself, feel depressed, and even commit suicide! It's time to be a mistress and hold your feet. Isn't the fishing village a model of entrepreneurship in China today? The guiding role of educational service object theory * * * People always like to analyze a large set of theories from the perspective of Marxism, so we will further analyze it from the perspective of Marx's development theory: the state and political parties and politics serving political parties will gradually withdraw from the historical stage with the development of human society and the demise of classes. And our education will always exist with the development of human society, ahead of the development of human society, find theoretical basis for the development of human society, promote the development of human society and enter the communist society. Today, when social mass production and knowledge economy begin! What I don't understand is whether political parties serve education or education serves political parties. Does human society rely on political parties to promote development, or on education to create productive forces to promote development? Proletarian political parties have gained state power, and their main task is to promote the development of productive forces and build a civilized and harmonious social environment. It should have a broader mind than a bourgeois party. Why not liberate the educational development force? Let education develop according to the essential law of education? But into the service of political parties to highlight politics? In today's socialized productive labor, does education serve politics or politics serve education? Since we know that education and politics are both for promoting the development of productive forces, and education directly serves the development of productive forces, then we should not let education waste more time highlighting the politics of political parties. We should lighten the burden of education. Let our education directly face the motherland, the world, the future and the four modernizations! Now that we know that education is the production tool (essence) to understand and transform the world, its service object is not people, not any class, but advanced science and technology and advanced scientific management, which directly serve social production!
