It is necessary to carry out death education. First of all, we should analyze the meaning of death education. Death education is a teaching process to explore the relationship between life and death. This process includes cultural and religious views and attitudes towards death. Because adolescent children already have the ability of abstract thinking and rational judgment, death education should be introduced in junior high school, which will not only help them develop physically and mentally healthily, but also help them cultivate the concept of life and death that cherishes, feels and fears life. I will demonstrate our point of view from several aspects.

First, from a social perspective, China currently lacks three kinds of education: sex education, love education and death education. The first two kinds of education have attracted the attention of all walks of life, and the unique death education has not aroused much waves. Influenced by traditional customs since ancient times, "death" has become a taboo word. When something bad happens, people will subconsciously keep silent in front of their children, trying to isolate disaster, terror and darkness from their children's world and prevent them from being hurt. This shows the importance of death education-to promote people's understanding of death and establish a correct view of life and death, so as to make the society develop in a more civilized direction.
