I've only heard of the South Sichuan University Alliance. The inaugural meeting of Southern Sichuan University Alliance was held in Southwest Medical University, and 14 universities in Luzhou, Zigong, Neijiang and Yibin became governing units. The establishment of the alliance marks that the reform of higher education in the four places has entered a new stage, and a key step has been taken on the road of exploring coordinated development, which will promote the sharing of educational resources, improve the efficiency of running universities in the four cities, and promote the integrated development of the southern Sichuan Economic Zone.

Serve 14 colleges and universities in southern Sichuan and serve the economic integration in southern Sichuan.

The alliance was initiated by universities in Luzhou, Zigong, Neijiang and Yibin, and was established on the basis of voluntary mutual benefit and friendly consultation, with the aim of promoting the sharing of educational resources, promoting collaborative innovation and serving regional economic and social development. After the alliance is established, it will cooperate in personnel training, education and teaching reform, scientific research, social services, cultural inheritance and innovation, international exchanges and cooperation, and resource sharing.

The conference heard and deliberated the articles of association of the Southern Sichuan University Alliance, and discussed and adopted the list of members of the first Council of the Southern Sichuan University Alliance and the list of leading bodies of the first Council of the Southern Sichuan University Alliance. Among them, Southwest Medical University was elected as the director unit, and Liao Bin, secretary of the Party Committee, was elected as the director. Sichuan University of Light Chemical Technology, neijiang normal College, Yibin College, sichuan police college and Yibin Vocational and Technical College were elected as vice-chairmen units.

Peng Yi, deputy director of the Education Department of Sichuan Province, said that the establishment of the Southern Sichuan University Alliance can promote the ability of schools to serve the regional economic and social development, provide strong intellectual support for accelerating the construction of the Southern Sichuan Economic Zone as the second economic growth pole in the province, an important gateway to the south, and a regional economic center at the junction of Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and Guizhou, and accelerate the transformation, innovation and leap-forward development of Sichuan, winning a well-off society in an all-round way, building a strong economic province, and pushing Sichuan to a new level.
