Liaocheng Education Bureau is the first-level government functional department of Liaocheng Municipal People's Government. Main responsibilities:

(three) to undertake the overall planning of the layout of secondary and below schools, and to undertake the audit responsibility of the establishment, merger, renaming and adjustment of ordinary high schools, ordinary secondary schools, vocational secondary schools and private schools in accordance with the regulations; Responsible for the renovation of dilapidated buildings in primary and secondary schools in conjunction with relevant departments.

(four) to participate in the formulation of education fund raising, education funding and education infrastructure investment policies, and to supervise the raising and use of education funds.
