[How to educate children's mental health] How to promote children's mental health
Early childhood is a critical period for children's language, thinking and development, an important stage for the development of their personality, emotion, self-awareness, social interaction and behavior habits, and a good opportunity to cultivate their healthy psychological behavior. Therefore, as a kindergarten's teaching guarantee, it is not only the arrangement and care of children's daily life, but also the health care and maintenance of the body and the achievement of growth indicators. Instead, we should pay attention to children's emotions and needs, let children develop healthy behavior habits, form a positive and reasonable attitude and lifestyle, and promote the healthy development of children's body and mind. Therefore, we must integrate mental health into all kinds of activities in kindergarten, so that children can form good habits from childhood through experience and feelings, and let them grow up to rely on their own psychological quality to stand on the society and become a strong person in life who is good at dealing with interpersonal relationships and facing setbacks correctly.

First, eliminate children's fears.

Fear is a bad emotional expression and a prominent negative emotion in early childhood. Children's fear appears with the growth of children's age, the exchange of ideas with adults and the understanding and thinking of the outside world.

There are many reasons why children are afraid: environment, events, stress, cognition and so on. Generally speaking, children's fears are mostly caused by intimidation, and intimidation is mostly caused by adults, especially parents. When children are disobedient or disobedient to adult consciousness, many parents take out their usual tricks to scare their children into submission. If you can't sleep well, ghosts will come; Cry again and you'll be locked up alone in a dark little house; Dishonesty is eaten by wolves; If you don't eat, send it to the hospital for a doctor to give you an injection or something.

Therefore, it is very important to eliminate children's fears. It is useless to just say empty words, such as "Don't be afraid, have parents", and sometimes it will deepen children's fears. Therefore, don't scold your child as a "coward", which will make your child more timid and inferior. Of course, teachers should not intimidate children when they are disobedient, but should sincerely respect, care for and cherish these children. At the same time, it is necessary to correct children's wrong behavior by telling scientific truth, patiently educate, inspire and encourage children, make them understand that there is no such thing as monsters, help them eliminate some doubts and mental pressures from the objective environment, and let them face life happily, easily and bravely.

Second, cultivate children's humility.

Children have no spirit of humility, because it comes from their "self-centeredness". Nowadays, most children are only children, and their status in the family is supreme, which leads them to form a self-centered and self-centered psychology. They only ask others how to treat themselves. The result of "egocentrism" is selfishness, which hinders the formation and development of children's social behavior. In view of this "self-centered" behavior of children, our kindergarten teachers should bear the brunt to stop it.

Children should be educated to do their duty for kindergartens, classes and families. In the collective life of kindergarten, every child can enjoy certain rights and fulfill certain obligations. For example, starting from small things, sorting out school supplies, placing small chairs, helping to tidy up the activity room, and distributing bowls and spoons. And guide parents to educate their children and do what they can at home, such as sweeping the floor, taking out the garbage, tidying up their clothes and toys, and tidying up their small rooms. Don't let them do anything for fear of being tired, and do everything for them, but I don't know that you connive at letting them reach for clothes and make ends meet.

Third, cultivate children's sharing spirit.

Sometimes children will do things that harm others and benefit themselves. For example, whether it is willy-nilly or not, we should pick out the good toys and hide the good things for ourselves not to be shared by others.

Sharing is a good behavior. Teachers should first let children feel the joy of sharing. When children share toys or food with their partners, they will always get a kind smile from their peers and praise from adults. This makes children understand in a subtle way that good things should be shared by everyone. At the same time, teachers and parents should encourage and praise their children in time when they find that they share actively, and say something infectious, for example, you know that sharing good things with children is a smart and sensible child! In this way, children will gradually understand the truth of "having fun with others" and develop good qualities of humility and sharing.

Fourth, eliminate children's jealousy.

Although children are (3-6) years old, their minds are not simpler than those of adults. Their competition secretly breeds a negative psychology called jealousy, which in turn leads to incorrect jealousy. When a teacher praises a good child and another child is not praised, they will show a sullen mood. If they are unhappy because they have not been praised for a long time, this "unhappiness" will be transferred to another child and become jealousy. In order to attack each other, some children will vilify him in front of the teacher, report on him, even threaten to make enemies with him, gloat over his failure and so on. Therefore, teachers should emphasize children's jealousy and give them pure childlike innocence.

In short, in early childhood, it is extremely important to cultivate children's mental health, because only when they have good psychological quality at an early age will they be not afraid of difficulties and setbacks in their later lives. Therefore, such an important task is an urgent mission and unshirkable responsibility of our kindergarten teachers.
