Reading Chen Heqin and Life Education (3)
After learning about Mr. Chen Heqin's life, I read his theory of "life education" deeply. Among them, we need to know the theoretical knowledge of "life education" such as two knowledge sources, three goals, four learning steps, "five fingers" activity plan, ten characteristics of life education, thirteen basic principles and seventeen teaching principles.

Two sources of knowledge: that is, we often say "nature and society are living teaching materials!" " This formulation has changed the wrong understanding of education in China society, that is, children are sent to school for "learning" and teachers' job is "teaching". In school, only books are considered as the only learning materials, thus ignoring natural and social learning.

Not to mention the past, this phenomenon is that some parents and teachers now think that reading is in school or classroom, thus ignoring society and learning in nature.

Three goals: to be a man, to be a China person and to be a modern China person.

The purpose of life education is to cultivate a person, a China person and a modern China person.

Life: To be an upright person, one must love mankind, regardless of nationality, race, class or religion. We should take the idea of "One World" as the ultimate goal of mankind.

As China people, we must love our country, the place where we grew up and our compatriots on the same land.

To be a modern China: First of all, you must be strong and healthy; Secondly, you should be creative; Third, you should have the spirit of cooperation; Fourth, you must be enthusiastic about serving the society; Fifth, you must be broad-minded and far-sighted.

The four steps of learning:

1. experimental observation, telling children to gain knowledge through experiments;

2. Read and use reference materials extensively, and ask the child to read books related to the subject he wants to study. Refer to some reference books when necessary.

3. Publishing and creation. Children have all the knowledge gained from direct and indirect experience, so they should be encouraged to express their ideas and create new things.

4. Criticism and research. That is, collective appraisal and research results, group discussion or joint discussion.

"Five fingers" activity plan: that is, the five major areas proposed now, want to be the "five fingers" of children.
