Yibin No.1 Junior High School, also known as Luo Yang Wei Shusheng Middle School, is located in the east of Yibin No.1 Senior High School, with a building area of 36,799 square meters. Three teaching buildings, 1 comprehensive experimental building and 1 student dormitory canteen building are planned, with a construction area of about 24,000 square meters and a total investment of about 69.8 million yuan. There are 36 classes planned, 1800 students. Resettlement of school-age students in Licun No.1 Middle School, Licun No.2 Middle School and the surrounding areas will promote the development of basic education in Yibin Economic Development Zone.
In order to improve the quality of running a school, build a brand school and better serve the people in the core area of the city, Yibin Education Center will build Yibin No.1 Middle School into "Luoyang Wei Shusheng Middle School" on the basis of the school-running concept of contemporary educator Wei Shusheng, aiming to lead the education, teaching and management of the school with Wei Shusheng's educational thought, promote the overall improvement of the quality of school education and teaching, and maximize the agglomeration effect of educational brands on regional popularity.
