Hanting District, belonging to Weifang City, Shandong Province, is located in the east of central Shandong Province, bordering Laizhou Bay in Bohai Sea in the north, Fangzi District and Weicheng District in the south, Changyi City in the east and Shouguang City in the west. The administrative area is 628 square kilometers. By the end of 2022, the permanent population of Hanting District was 420,000.
