Cai Wei, who is seriously partial to the subject, can't step into the university threshold just by getting excellent grades in Chinese. Soon, he entered the hose factory and became a worker.
Freshness can make people forget the past in a short time, but after the pleasure, Cai Wei fell into deep thought: "If you like it, pursue it. If no one teaches you, I will learn by myself and earn money. " So Cai Wei plunged into the ancient books again. 1994, when the factory closed down, Cai Wei was laid off and set up a stall in the street, trying to sell cigarettes and ice cream. Between small businesses, he always carries an old book in his hand. The following year, he married and gave birth to a lovely son, Cai.
The birth of a son brought hope and joy to this family, and also brought a lot of economic burden. Small business income is very unstable, and family economic life is also ebb and flow. That day, when he brought back another stack of books, his wife scolded him for the first time: "If you can't even support our mother's life, what else can you learn?" No matter how great the learning is, can it stand eating and drinking oil and salt? "His wife is very supportive of his self-study at ordinary times, but between survival and study, his wife will undoubtedly tend to the former, and Cai Wei is lost in thought. Having no money to buy books, he went to the library to copy local ancient books.
In 2007, Cai Wei saw that the pedal tricycle had low operating risk and quick money, so he bought a "god cow" and made a living by pulling carts. Every day at five or six o'clock, he will go out and ride a tricycle for several hours to go home for breakfast, because at this time, the work is easy and there are many passengers. He never eats out. He rides a tricycle home for three meals a day. When he comes home during the day, he never forgets to read a book for a while and then get on his tricycle. In the evening, he began to read and take notes again.
That day, when Cai Wei finished his work, it was already past 10 in the evening, and he wiped the sweat from his forehead. He calculated the income of the day: one job is two or three yuan, and today there are at least 20 jobs, and the income can be more than 60 yuan for dozens of kilometers. He secretly pleased: if this continues, you can buy books again in the future. Suddenly, two figures rushed over from the side of the road. He subconsciously thought, "It's broken, it's been robbed!" Just when he was worried about being robbed of his money after a hard day's work, he realized that it was two drunks racing at night. The next day, I told Professor Qiu Xigui, the master of ancient philology and the research center of unearthed documents and ancient characters of Fudan University, about this experience, and Professor Qiu was so happy that he laughed his head off.
Cai Wei began to publish articles in academic magazines in 2003, which attracted academic attention. He is also honored as "Professor Cai" by many experts. He met Professor Qiu on 1997. At that time, Qiu Xigui published an article on Shen Bird's Fu in Cultural Relics magazine. The meaning of the word "Sasako" has not been explained. Therefore, Cai Wei discussed in his letter that "Zuo Zi" should be pronounced as "Coarse Zi", that is, "Yuan". Professor Qiu appreciated the explanation.
Cai Wei's research on ancient Chinese characters has been recognized and respected by academic circles. In September, 20xx, under the recommendation of experts, I participated in the finishing work of the project "Bamboo Slips and Silk Books Integration of Mawangdui Han Tomb in Changsha". During his work, Cai Wei's academic views were unique. Some experts believe that the level of ancient Chinese characters in Cai Wei has reached the doctoral level.
