Tianjin Dongli National Defense Education Base was established in September 1998. For more than ten years, under the great attention and cordial care of the leaders of party committees and governments at all levels, it has gone through three stages: creation, development and popularization. At present, the base covers an area of 840 mu and the main building area is nearly 30,000 square meters.
According to different functional requirements, the base is divided into more than a dozen education, study, training and living areas, such as education exhibition hall, theoretical teaching, military training, live-fire shooting and comprehensive practice. There is a modern teaching building, a dormitory building 12, and two A-level canteens.

In order to meet different military training requirements, we have built a tactical training ground of 100 mu, a queue training ground of 30,000 square meters, a 400-meter obstacle training ground, a CS laser gun actual combat confrontation field, an aircraft circulating shooting range and a live ammunition shooting range. Equipped with light weapons laser countermeasure simulation system 100 sets, air-to-air shooting laser simulation training system 6 sets and directional cross-country equipment 2 sets.
In order to enrich students' practical learning activities and improve their practical ability, we have established industrial parks and agricultural parks. There are 10 industrial classrooms in Gong Xue Park, equipped with more than one set of professional equipment 10, which can perform basic operations such as making and cutting, and understand the basic process of technological production.
Xuenongyuan has a vegetable area, a grain area and a feeding area, and there are three modern edible fungi planting greenhouses to let students know the basic knowledge of planting and breeding.
