Can I skip the elective course of continuing education for first-class architects?
No, continuing education for first-class builders is a necessary condition for registration. Registered professional builders shall participate in continuing education for no less than 120 hours per registration cycle, including 60 hours for compulsory courses and 60 hours for elective courses. Registered two or more majors, each additional major should also participate in 60 hours of continuing education in the added major, including 30 hours of compulsory courses and 30 hours of elective courses.

The first-class constructor needs continuing education every year, and the registration certificate and practicing seal are valid for 3 years. In each registration period, the first-class construction engineer must meet the requirements of continuing education stipulated by the competent construction department of the State Council before applying for renewal of registration.

First-class constructor qualification registration

I apply for registration to the Ministry of Construction or its authorized agencies after the first-instance examination by the construction administrative departments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government.

Applicants for registration must meet the following conditions:

1, and obtain the qualification certificate of builder;

2. No criminal record;

3, good health, can insist on working in the post of construction engineer;

4. The unit has passed the inspection.
