How to ensure the safety of children's medication in the park
Some viewpoints and practices on children's medication and management.

Do a good job in carrying and registering products.

We often meet children taking medicine in kindergarten. In order to ensure the safety of drugs brought by children, it is necessary to carry out "carrying registration" for good drugs.

1. Define the scope of medication. When children have slight physical discomfort such as cold, runny nose, cough, etc., and are diagnosed as having no infectious diseases, high fever and fever by regular hospitals, and can participate in the activities of the kindergarten for a normal day, parents can bring oral drugs approved by the State Drug Administration to the kindergarten.

2. Observe the registration system. Parents must strictly abide by the kindergarten drug registration system. In drug registration, parents with drugs are required to fill in the child's name, drug name, taking time, dosage, taking method and matters needing attention on the drug registration form, and sign their parents' names to explain clearly to the teacher on duty (see table 1). If children bring their own medicines into the park, the teacher on duty should call parents to re-register in the park; If parents don't sign the form or the method of taking it is unclear, parents should be required to fill in the form completely, otherwise the teacher has the right to refuse to give it to the child.

Do a good job in the storage and management of drugs.

1. Take the medicine. After careful drug registration, parents should personally hand over the drugs to the teacher on duty, and may not entrust others or children to take the drugs.

2. Check the drugs. The teacher on duty should carefully check the expiration date of the drug after receiving it, and check with both parents whether the drug registration is clear.

3. Store medicines. The class teacher should put the children's medicines in the right place and store them separately while doing a good job of inspection. You can't mix many children's medicines. The medicine box (bag) should be kept out of the reach of children.

4. Manage drugs. Each child only takes medicine for one day at a time. Parents are strictly forbidden to take medicine for several days at a time (except health care products), and parents are required to take medicine reasonably according to their children's condition every day. After the child takes the medicine, the teacher on duty cleans the medicine box (bag) to further check and implement this link. Children who need to take health care products for a long time are required to indicate the medication cycle on the medication record. The teacher on duty inserts the time and dosage marks on his medicine box (bag) to avoid missing the medicine the next day.
