First, the change of teachers' concept makes the environment a classroom for children.
In the past, the environmental layout of each semester was a heavy burden for teachers. We always work overtime and carefully design, make and arrange for our children. When the children walked into the classroom full of fairy tales, they were very excited and clapped their hands and said, "How beautiful!" " At this time, the teacher will feel gratified and feel that the hard work is worthwhile, but the good times will not last long. Before long, children will be indifferent to the layout of the wall, and the decoration of the wall will be in name only, failing to achieve the role of education. After moving to the new park, the environment is good and the place is large. It is obviously impossible for teachers to say "come in" to children after they have been decorated as before. In order to let children truly become the masters of the environment and realize their own development in the process of active interaction with the environment, we decided to guide children to participate in the design and production of the environment.
First of all, we guide children to participate in the design of the wall and determine the theme. For example, 1 1 month, after our class launched a series of environmental education activities such as "The Earth We Live in" and "Let the Air Clean", in order to further strengthen children's environmental awareness, we organized "Who does Father Earth like?" During the conversation, the children expressed their opinions and put forward various practices that the earth father likes and dislikes. Some say, "Grandpa Earth likes flowers and trees", some say, "Grandpa Earth likes clean rivers" and some say, "Grandpa Earth doesn't like littering". Finally, we decided to decorate it as a wall according to the children's interests and the theme of this month. After determining the theme, we guide the children to participate in the production of wall decorations. After discussion, the children were assigned jobs. Children with strong painting skills are responsible for making pictures, while other children are responsible for printing, cutting flowers and decorating the picture borders. The children were very enthusiastic about their creation and finished all the work in two days. Although the children's arrangement is rough, it combines their emotions and wisdom, which embodies the spirit of high cooperation among children. By letting children participate in the layout of the environment, they not only enhance their understanding of air pollution, but also enhance their awareness of environmental protection. This process also conveys an extremely important message for their life growth: "Our power can change the environment, and we can influence our lives.
Second, skillfully use the stimulation of the surrounding environment to educate and develop children.
For example, decorate the wall of "good behavior is cultivated from childhood". We ask the children to paint the color, and then paste the purpose note on the wall of the stairs. In this way, whenever children go up and down the stairs, they will involuntarily read: "Save water", "Don't fight" and "Don't watch TV while eating". The environment unconsciously affects children and regulates their various behaviors.
Another example is the "tabloid station" on the wall of our classroom, which has caused
Children's concern and interest in what is happening around them, they learn to learn all kinds of news from TV, newspapers and computers, and then process and sort it out in their own language, and then express it. They provide a good learning space for children through such activities as watching news, speaking and writing.
When teachers pay attention to creating a rich environment for children and make full use of the surrounding environment to stimulate children's active learning, the environment can become the golden key to open children's potential and promote their development.
Thirdly, the activity area should be constructed reasonably to make it a second classroom for children.
According to the purpose that activity areas and educational activities complement each other, our class has created seven areas, including science, calculation, language, reading and art design. Each area has put in materials related to the recent teaching content, and these areas have become the second classroom for children, and children have been better developed in the activities. For example, the science area is children's favorite place. After the science activity "Electricity", I put batteries, electric beads and other materials in the science area, and children like to play after class. In the process of playing, children find such a rule: the more batteries, the brighter the electric beads, and when they can't fit, they will be burned. Limited by class time and ability, children with weak ability can't find such creative discoveries in a short time. Through the activity area, another part of the children have also developed.
For example, in the language area, we have prepared headdresses, small TVs, recently learned poems and story pictures and arranged them in a quiet corner. In this area, an atmosphere suitable for children's performances is created, giving children private performance and expression space. The strong children wore headdresses in twos and threes and performed a poem they had just learned. For those timid children, the language area is also a place for them to show themselves. Look! Obviously, those who don't want to talk in class are also telling the story of "Little Bear Crossing the Bridge".
The handicraft area is also the children's favorite place. We have prepared toothbrushes, paints, watercolor pens, paper and other materials for the children. Children can be chic little painters at will in the art district, and their works can also be exhibited in my works column in the district. We often change the materials in this area to adapt to the educational content as much as possible. If the content of this week's handicraft class is to learn origami, we will purposefully provide some diagrams of paper and origami for children in the art design area, so that children can learn to look at pictures and origami, make technical preparations for teaching activities, and truly realize the educational value of the activity area.
Fourth, provide parents with educational information and strengthen family ties through wall decoration and various educational columns.
Our educational activities are inseparable from the support and cooperation of parents. Therefore, it is particularly important to convey some educational information and ideas to parents and introduce our educational goals and contents to parents. To this end, our class has set up columns such as "home communication" and "love message". In the column of Home News, we purposefully introduce some parenting experiences, educational contents and the work that we hope parents will support and cooperate with. For example, when school started, my parents left my class after school.
There are objections to organizing children to watch cartoons, so we will introduce articles about children watching cartoons to parents in the home newsletter, so that parents can know and understand which cartoons are suitable for children and how parents and teachers should guide their children to watch cartoons. Another example is Ming Jian, a child in our class, who always can't sit still at home or school. His mother is very worried about it. In order to let parents have a deeper understanding of this type of children, we studied countermeasures through class groups, and searched for articles about educating children who can't sit still, and posted them in the family exchange column, which deepened parents' understanding and provided convenience and basis for families to educate their children together.
In the column of "Love Message", we exhibited the diary of children, so that parents can understand their children's thoughts and truly enter the world of childlike innocence. In this column, we also select some excellent parenting experiences of parents for your reference and reference, and build a bridge for teachers, parents and children.
The column "Silhouette of Children's Life" arranged by us and the class teacher shows parents the content of children's life in kindergarten, which not only enriches campus culture, but also strengthens parents' understanding of children's life.
Environment is an important educational resource. As long as we teachers change our ideas, attach importance to children's participation, and truly let children become the masters of the environment, then the environment can really serve children's learning.
