Wang Teng, a famous Shaanxi teacher, wrote a pair of couplets, which read "The rain makes the piano body moist, and the wind sends ink fragrance".

Wang Teng, male, Bochong, from Xi, Shaanxi Province, is a painter and artist with a stage name of Golden Beard. He studied with his grandfather Wang Zhiren and his good friend Ran since childhood, and later studied with the old calligrapher Yang Shuhe and Weibei. Painting worships Chen Naishi, the representative of Lingnan School of Painting, and devotes himself to studying. The seal engraver studied under Wang Tailai, a famous brick carving master, and Wei Chengde, a folk craftsman.
