There are two reasons. First, you can improve the radian and strengthen the rotation, both of which can directly improve the hit rate. Second, after the wrist is pressed to 90 degrees, the shooting process is longer, and there is room for adjustment in direction and strength.
Because I am not familiar with the distance direction of the basket before, I need to get familiar with it gradually. After the wrist is pressed down to 90 degrees, the force process becomes longer, during which there is room for adjustment in the direction.
When practicing three-pointers, press your wrist to 90 degrees. Every time I get tired, many stars practice three-pointers in jump shots. It takes effect within half a month, which is more effective than directly practicing upper limb strength.
If you don't have enough strength to shoot 3 points, put it on your chest from the beginning, and shooting will be much easier. Wait for the ball to play for a long time before changing positions according to your own needs.
If the shooting posture is not standard, there are two ways to improve it: 1 a little sideways. If you shoot with your right hand, turn your body slightly to the left until your elbow points to the hoop (avoid elbow valgus, which is a big taboo in shooting).
2. Pay attention to pressing the wrist. When the elbow is more than 90 degrees and the ball is about to leave the hand, pressing the wrist can effectively improve the range, ensure stability, practice more and experience more.
If you just practice shooting, you will soon find the feeling. As long as your leg movements are not too bad, your shooting percentage will not be too low. Try to raise your hand position (elbow level with eyebrow eye when you put the ball), which will lay a good foundation for you to practice turning, stopping and leaning back later.
