Advanced Skills of Excel Great God: Solving Implicit Function Quickly
Excel is not only a powerful data processing tool, but also can help you solve math problems. This paper will introduce how to use Excel's programming tools to quickly solve implicit functions, so that Excel can become your personal math assistant.

Input implicit function equation

First, enter your implicit function equation and arrange two independent "luxury houses" for the independent variable and the dependent variable.

Find the solver tool

Click the Data tab of Excel and find the Solver, a powerful assistant.

Set the parameters of the solver.

In the solver parameter interface, set the "target cell" as the result cell of the implicit function and give it a clear "target".

Enter the range of independent variables

In "Variable Cell", enter the value range of the independent variable, such as $A 1:A 10$, so that it has a "home".

Set constraints

Don't forget to add some "rules" to the independent variable and set them in "constraints", for example, they must be non-negative!

Click ok.

Click "OK" and Excel will work out the answer for you immediately.

skill

The Solver tool is hidden by default. Remember to enable it in Excel first! In Excel 20 10 and later, go to Options in the File tab, find the Add-in tab, and then select Solver Plug-in under Excel Add-ins to enable it.
