International Standard for Professional Nurses (ISPN) is an international standard to measure nurses' professional knowledge and skills. It was first introduced in China at the end of 2008 by the Graduate Committee of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNSInternational) and the Talent Exchange Service Center of the Ministry of Health of China, and then gradually extended to other Asian countries.

On August 20 12, CGFNS set up its China office to be responsible for the operation and coordination of the ISPN project in China.

Those who pass the ISPN examination can obtain the ISPN certificate issued by the International Committee of Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools. CGFNSInternational has set up the Nursing Qualification Examination (CGFNSQualifyingExam) in 44 countries around the world, which is consistent with the level of ISPN examination.
