China Petroleum Pipeline Institute (Hebei Vocational and Technical College of Petroleum) was founded in 1978, and is affiliated to China Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline Bureau. It is an enterprise university with comprehensive development of enterprise training, general higher vocational and technical education and adult higher education, and it is also the key training base of China Petroleum and Natural Gas Corporation (CNPC).
