Wu (1893,65438+10-1969, March) is a famous anthropologist, biostatistician and educator in China, and the main founder of physical anthropology in China. Mr. Wu received his Ph.D. in Statistics from University of London in England in 1928, became the first China member of the International Statistical Society in 1930, joined the International Anthropology Society in 1934, and was elected as an academician of Academia Sinica in 1948.
