1. equipment pit: it's the kind of impulse to fully equip the equipment first no matter what you want to learn. Such students seem to be eager to learn and spend a lot of money. As a result, they often buy a lot of cosmetics, but they all stay there to eat dirt and the emulsion has not improved.
In fact, makeup is composed of three aspects: aesthetics, skills and products, all of which are indispensable. Under the guidance of aesthetics, using cosmetics to help us foster strengths and avoid weaknesses through appropriate techniques is the true meaning of makeup. ? For example, a student with a round face, no matter how well she draws her eyebrows, can't play a role in modifying her face; A country girl with warm yellow skin took out a huge sum of money to buy pink lipstick. She wanted something beautiful, but it backfired.
Without aesthetic guidance, there is no way to start every stroke. I don't know why it's so complicated, so I can only draw a tiger according to the cat. Of course, it is awkward to draw.
Therefore, to learn makeup, we should start from learning how to know ourselves correctly, and take a good look at what our face really needs, what our shortcomings need to be covered up, and what our advantages deserve to be carried forward, so as to write like a god.
2. Universal Pit: I feel that makeup is omnipotent and can solve all problems.
For example, some students feel that their faces are big and want to make their faces look smaller through makeup. However, there are at least four reasons for the large face: mandible, masseter muscle, fat, double chin, or a combination of several. Unfortunately, the improvement of these problems by makeup is limited.
Makeup pays more attention to the skin and its attachments. For example, liquid foundation can be used to improve the smoothness and color of the skin, and eyebrows, hairlines and eyelashes attached to the skin can also be changed by changing the eyebrow shape, hairstyle and mascara. The problems determined by bones, muscles and fat can only be alleviated to a certain extent, but a square face cannot be turned into a round face, and a round face can be turned into a square face with high cheekbones and a double-faced person.
3. Crash pit: Just like a baby who didn't learn to walk, he didn't pay attention to basic exercises and only pursued the diversity of makeup. ?
Every style of makeup is inseparable from the support of basic skills, and every eyebrow type is inseparable from the shadow of standard eyebrows. The premise of drawing a complete makeup is that every local makeup can be mastered.
Therefore, the correct learning path should be: first lay the basic skills of each part, then combine them to form the basic makeup, and finally change the makeup style according to the needs of the occasion. Without the practice of basic skills, makeup can't be displayed incisively and vividly in every occasion, and it may even be more wrong.
These are the most common misconceptions that I have summed up in my long-term teaching practice when beginners learn makeup, regardless of operational details. If we don't understand these problems, I'm afraid we will only get twice the result with half the effort.
