"Where do you want to hold this training? 」
"Well ... go to Qinghai, I haven't been to Qinghai. 」
"Well, let's go to Qinghai! 」
In this way, two accidental professors decided the first training of narrative painting therapy (NDI) of China Social Work Education Association. The course attracted 43 professors and lecturers from social work departments all over the country, which really depended on the amazing organizational ability of Professor Shi and his team. From the preparation of various courses to the subtle hotel accommodation arrangements, the conference was properly arranged.
To tell the truth, the elementary class (basic class) and intermediate class (practical class) of narrative painting therapy are generally held twice separately, with a maximum of 33 people. The number of participants in this training is unprecedented 10, and putting the two courses together is unprecedented in 12 years.
The first two days of the primary course form naturally runs through theory, experiential learning and on-site case demonstration. I believe that many psychologists are no strangers to projection painting. But if anyone can analyze this psychological evaluation tool thoroughly, it should be Dr. Huang Xiaohong. Teacher Huang's intellectuality and sincerity touched the hearts of social workers on the first day of class. From the phenomenon world to the spiritual exploration, Mr. Huang talked about the experience of psychological counseling from his own experience, and then told everyone by sharing the paintings of great painters and small painters:
Perhaps as a professional helper, you will ask: How dangerous is the live demonstration! What will happen if you touch the most profound experience of a "star (demonstrator)"? But the most important thing for Mr. Huang's professional and gentle treatment of "stars" is "no harm" so that "stars" can really be "together". Teacher Huang often emphasizes that therapists are not teachers or experts to visitors, but "peers" who accompany them on their journey. On the way, the therapist's role is to find that the visitor has a shiny diamond and pick it up and return it to the visitor. This "fellow traveler" is very humble and truly accompanies tourists out of the haze, not by opinions and suggestions, nor by deliberately changing their minds, but by letting tourists see their true selves and their own strength to solve their own problems. Finally, through the cooperation of external resources, visitors can really see hope and solve their problems.
However, before solving the problems of visitors, "peers" must know: Have you solved your own problems? Therefore, the intermediate class of narrative painting therapy (internship course) is actually a self-growth experience. Through the practice of the three-person counseling group, every student has the opportunity to become a visitor, therapist and observer. Through this research, students can experience each role from macro and micro perspectives. The most commendable thing is that through this exercise process, students can find their own internal strength, external resources and expectations, and continue to grow in their studies. Six days is not a long time, but what students get far exceeds the time limit. Students become good friends by learning from each other. It's warm to watch everyone cheer for "comrades-in-arms" in the WeChat group every day.
In class, Mr. Huang shared countless experiences of psychological trauma with his compatriots who accompanied the victims after the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, and admitted that he lacked knowledge when he went to work in the disaster area. Later, he went to the United States and Australia actively, followed art therapists Dr Cathy Malchiodi and Ms Cornelia Elbrecht respectively, and got a lot of inspiration from his professional attitude and mentality learned from Australian narrative therapist michael white. Teacher Huang's positive attitude prompted her to develop her own clinical psychotherapy model-narrative painting intervention during her four-year doctoral research. Since 20 15, this psychotherapy model has held seminars and lectures all over the world (USA, Australia, Singapore and Mexico) and in different provinces and cities in China (Beijing, Yunnan, Sichuan, Xi 'an, Shenzhen, Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, Hong Kong and Macau). In 20 17 alone, as many as 46 projects were held, with tens of thousands of cumulative beneficiaries over the years.
Mr. Huang is convinced that every professional helper needs a toolbox to really help every visitor effectively. No one can say that he has learned everything, we all need to keep learning. When using narrative painting therapy, many times our visitors are our best teachers, and their inspiration to the healers is beyond books.
Students can really apply their skills to visitors after completing the intermediate class training of narrative painting therapy. If they want to continue their studies, they can continue to attend advanced classes (supervisory classes) and master classes (training classes) to consolidate their knowledge and benefit more people in need in society. Professors who completed the first phase in Qinghai, 20 19 and 1 are eagerly awaiting the second phase!
More than half of 20 18 years have passed. If you encounter bottlenecks in consultation, but still have the motivation and motivation to learn this magical and flesh-and-blood clinical psychotherapy model, welcome to join NDI's big family!
P.S. If you want to know what "love yourself" is, you are invited to experience it yourself. )
Finally, send the beautiful scenery of Zhuo'er Mountain in Qinghai!
