However, ISO/TS 16949 process audit and VDA6.3 (process audit) have different purposes and objects. However, VDA6.3 is widely used as the standard for implementing process audit in automobile industry. In the concrete implementation process, VDA6.3 covers a wide range, especially the new VDA6.3 standard.

From new product development to customer concern and satisfaction, it covers the whole product realization process, and also basically involves the contents of chapters 6, 7 and 8 in TS 16949 standard. Moreover, it is audited in the form of scoring, which is more objective and sufficient. This also reflects the rigorous work style of the Germans.

But must the process audit in TS 16949 be done according to the requirements of VDA6.3, and must it be trained by VDA6.3? Of course, the former question is not necessary, and the process audit can take many forms. VDA6.3 is only a way of process audit, but if the latter is audited according to vda6.3 process, the auditor should be trained and qualified in vda6.3.

In March 2002, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) issued the requirements of industrial quality system. Its full name is "quality management system-the special requirements of implementing ISO900 1 in the organization of automobile production parts and related service parts", and its English is IATF 16949. In response to ISO900 1:20 15 quality management system, this standard was updated to IATF16949: 20 16 on 20/6.

For VDA6.3, VDA6.3 is a standard formulated by the public to evaluate the quality ability of its suppliers. At present, the latest version is VDA 6.3: 20 10, which was born to evaluate the quality system capability of an enterprise systematically, objectively and normatively, so that the conclusion is scientific and horizontal and can be used as the basis for the public to choose suppliers.
