The present situation of smart cities
In order to standardize and promote the healthy development of smart cities, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development launched the National Smart City Pilot Project. After the procedures of local city declaration, preliminary examination by provincial housing and urban-rural construction authorities and comprehensive evaluation by experts, the first batch of 90 national smart cities were piloted, including 37 prefecture-level cities, 50 districts (counties) and 3 towns. The pilot cities have been established for 3-5 years, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development organizes an evaluation to evaluate the pilot cities (districts and towns) that have passed the evaluation, and the evaluation level is divided into one star from low to high. According to this information, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) is drafting guidelines for the healthy development of smart cities, and studying the launching of smart city pilot projects in a regional scope. The three major operators have reached "smart city" strategic cooperation agreements with more than 300 cities. It is estimated that during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the total investment scale of "smart city" in China is expected to reach 500 billion yuan.

Developing smart cities is an important comprehensive measure to promote the high informatization and networking of cities in China. From the perspective of equipment manufacturers, optical communication equipment manufacturers and wireless communication equipment manufacturers will give full play to their respective technical advantages, fully integrate wireless and wired, realize optimal network configuration, and accelerate the development process of smart cities. The corresponding communication equipment manufacturers and chip manufacturers will gain huge benefits from it.

The modes of promoting smart cities can be divided into five categories: hundreds of regions in China have proposed to build smart cities, and big cities such as Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Wuxi, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Wuhan and Chengdu have established RFID industrial parks, hoping to take the lead in developing the Internet of Things industry and be at the forefront of the construction of smart cities in China. The development strategies of smart cities in major cities are as follows: The "Smart Beijing Action Plan" of major cities in Beijing includes intelligent transportation, electronic medical records, telemedicine, smart home and e-commerce. I hope to form an IOT basic network covering the whole city in 20 15. Shanghai will build an urban optical network, develop wireless broadband with various technologies such as 3G and WIFI, promote the research and application of new technologies such as intelligent technology, cloud computing and Internet of Things, and accelerate the integration of the three networks. Ningbo builds a modern international port city, taking Hangzhou Bay New District as the experimental area for building a smart city, and puts forward the target orientation of "smart new city" and "ecological home". 20 15 Foshan will be built into a strategic emerging industrial cluster and a pioneer in the integration of the four modernizations, and ten key projects of intelligent service infrastructure will be put forward, hoping to promote industrialization, urbanization and internationalization by informationization. Guangzhou will build the first official wireless city portal "led by the government and operated by operators hand in hand" to promote efficient and convenient wireless broadband network services for citizens, enterprises and all sectors of society. As one of the national pilot cities of triple play, Shenzhen is committed to improving intelligent infrastructure, developing e-commerce support systems, promoting intelligent transportation and cultivating intelligent industrial bases. It is hoped that in 20 12 years, the coverage rate of broadband wireless network will reach 100%, and South China Internet of Things Certification Center will be established.

With the acceleration of urbanization, cities are endowed with unprecedented economic, political and technological rights, and cities are inevitably pushed to the center of the world stage and play a leading role. At the same time, cities are also facing challenges such as environmental pollution, traffic congestion, energy shortage, housing shortage, unemployment and disease. In the new environment, how to solve many problems brought by urban development and realize sustainable development has become an important proposition in urban planning and construction. In this context, "smart city" has become a feasible way to solve urban problems, and it is also the trend of future urban development. The rapid development of smart city construction will promote the rapid development of local economy, satellite navigation, Internet of Things, intelligent transportation, smart grid, cloud computing, software services and other industries, and bring new development opportunities to related industries. The development of smart cities in China has entered the stage of scale promotion. Up to now, 154 cities across the country have proposed to build smart cities. It is estimated that the total investment scale will reach 1. 1 trillion, or even incite more trillion. A new round of industrial opportunities is coming.

The state encourages innovation in application models and promotes the construction of smart cities. China, Shenzhen, Kunming, Ningbo and other cities signed strategic cooperation agreements with IBM, taking the first step to build a smart city. Beijing plans to release "Smart Beijing Action Plan" after completing the goal of "Digital Beijing", and Shanghai will incorporate smart city construction into the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan". In addition, Foshan, Wuhan, Chongqing and Chengdu have all launched the "smart city" strategy, and related plans, projects and activities have also been gradually launched. Excellent domestic smart industry enterprises pay more and more attention to the study of smart cities, especially the in-depth study of the development environment and trend changes of smart cities. Because of this, a large number of outstanding smart industry enterprises in China have risen rapidly and gradually become the leader in smart city construction!

On October 29th, 2065438+200365438+/kloc-0, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced the first batch of national smart cities. The first batch of 90 national smart cities were piloted, including 37 prefecture-level cities, 50 districts (counties) and 3 towns. China Development Bank said that in the three years after the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the scale of cooperative investment in smart cities with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will reach 80 billion yuan.

There are 3 1 1 prefecture-level cities in China to build digital cities, of which 158 digital cities have been built and widely used in more than 60 fields. At the same time, more than 100 digital county construction and three smart city construction pilots have been launched recently. In 20 13, the National Bureau of Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information will organize a pilot project to build a national smart city spatio-temporal information cloud platform, and about 10 cities will be selected for pilot projects every year. The construction period of each pilot project is 2 to 3 years, with a total investment of not less than 36 million yuan. In the near future, people will enjoy the convenient services brought by smart home, road network monitoring, smart hospital, food and drug management and digital life, and the era of "smart city" is coming.
