Yantai Vocational College's 20 19 CET-4 in September, the school won the 14 project from the higher scientific research department. Set up 3 1 horizontal projects, and complete 36; Appraisal of academic papers 155; Authorized patent of China National Intellectual Property Administration 19; Won 30 scientific research achievement awards at or above the municipal level.

In the research report on the scientific research competitiveness of 200 national demonstration and backbone higher vocational colleges published by East China Normal University and China Knowledge Network, it ranks 64th in China and 4th in Shandong.

By May 20 15, the school had established eight school-level scientific research institutions, namely, Technology R&D and Promotion Center, Image Processing and Pattern Recognition College, Automation College, Food College, Electronics College, Mold Design and Manufacturing College, New Energy Technology College and Vocational Quality Education College.
