Article 1 The name of the degree awarded
Master of medicine;
Master of dental medicine;
Master of traditional Chinese medicine.
Article 2 Degree-conferring units
Approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, a degree-granting unit with the right to award professional degrees in clinical medicine or stomatology and traditional Chinese medicine.
Article 3 Application for Qualification
1. Undergraduates majoring in clinical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and stomatology have obtained bachelor's degrees.
2. Residents who are receiving standardized training for residents or clinicians who have obtained the certificate of standardized training for residents.
3. The professional degree category applied by the applicant should be collected and sorted by the medical education network corresponding to the standardized recruitment of residents.
Article 4 Application Procedures
The applicant applies to the unit that has the right to confer academic degrees. After the qualification examination of the applicant, the degree-conferring unit will determine whether the applicant has the equivalent academic ability to graduate with a master's degree through relevant course assessment, clinical ability assessment and dissertation defense.
Article 5 Curriculum evaluation
1. Degree course exam. The degree-granting unit shall determine and organize the evaluation according to the requirements of the training plan.
2. National unified examination. Including those who have the same academic ability to apply for the national unified examination of foreign language proficiency of postgraduate students and the national unified examination of comprehensive level of clinical medicine, stomatology and Chinese medicine postgraduate students. The content of the national unified examination focuses on clinical professional knowledge and its practical application.
Article 6 Evaluation of clinical ability
In the standardized training base for residents announced by the administrative department of health and family planning at or above the provincial level (including the administrative department of traditional Chinese medicine), if the standardized training for residents is completed and the qualification certificate of doctors and the certificate of standardized training for residents are obtained, it will be regarded as having passed the clinical ability assessment.
Article 7 thesis defense
1. Thesis supervisor. The degree-granting unit arranges the tutor of master students to guide the applicant to complete the writing of master's degree thesis.
2. Requirements for dissertations. Thesis topics should be combined with clinical practice. The paper should show that the applicant has the ability to analyze and solve clinical practical problems by using clinical medical theories and methods.
3. thesis defense. The degree-conferring unit shall organize the thesis defense according to the specific requirements and procedures of the thesis defense of the unit. The thesis defense Committee focuses on assessing the applicant's basic clinical research ability.
Article 8 Degree conferring
Applicants who have passed the postgraduate qualification level are granted a master's degree in clinical medicine, stomatology or traditional Chinese medicine with the approval of the degree-granting unit academic degree evaluation committee, and a master's degree certificate is issued.
