Guigang vocational college is a full-time college at the specialist level, which was established in August 2003 with the approval of the people's government of the autonomous region and the record of the Ministry of Education. The college has two campuses, the old campus and the new campus. The old campus (the former site of Guigang Normal School) covers an area of 42.3 mu. The new campus is located in the west section of Guilin Road, Chengbei New District, Guigang City, with a planned land area of 805 mu, which will be completed in two phases. The land for the first phase is 3.91mu, and the investment is about 654.38+0.6 billion yuan. On May 4, 2008, the first phase of the new campus project was officially started. And in the fall semester of 2009, the overall relocation was realized. At present, the construction of the new campus has completed the teaching science and technology building, college teaching building, student apartment type C, practice building and track and field playground (runway), department teaching building, student apartment type A and supporting facilities, campus roads and other projects. The smooth construction of the first phase of the college has opened a brand-new development period.

The college has seven teaching departments and auxiliary institutions, including the Department of Electronic Machinery, the Department of Economic Management, the Department of Art Engineering, the Department of Logistics Engineering, the Department of Social Sciences, the Training Center and the Practice Training Center.
