Turandot program
General situation of universities
The Turandot program is aimed at students who are interested in studying in Italian art schools, music schools and design schools. The plan implements the same terms as the Kelpolo plan. Students will receive a 6-month language training course in Italy. After the course, they can apply directly to the pre-selected art colleges in China through the language examination.
I. Background and Advantages of the Project
With the successful implementation of Kelpolo Plan in China from 2005 to 2008, thousands of China students successfully entered Italian comprehensive public universities to study arts and sciences, but there are still great limitations for art and music students who are determined to pursue further studies in Italy.
In order to provide more opportunities for China students to study in Italy, Italy has set up the Turandot study abroad program. The "Turandot" program aims at art, music and design majors, and provides opportunities for China students to study in the Italian Academy of Arts and Music. The project implements the same regulations as the "Kelpolo" plan.
China students applying for this program don't need basic knowledge of Italian, and their college entrance examination scores plus artistic scores are above 380.
After six months of Italian courses, China students who have passed the final course examination can register directly in the art or music college of their choice.
Second, the project introduction
In order to expand the market of China art and music students in Italy, the Italian Ministry of Education has formulated the "Turandot Plan", and more than 40 music and art colleges have participated in it. According to the plan, relevant departments of the two countries will set up offices in China and China to provide consulting services for Italian students who want to study in Italy.
