The quality of running a school has been recognized by the society and government departments. 1998 was designated as "National Comprehensive Vocational Training Base" by the Ministry of Labor, which integrates vocational demand forecasting, vocational training, qualification appraisal and employment service. In 2003, it was designated as "National Training Base for Highly Skilled Talents (Electromechanical Engineering)" by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. In September of the same year, with the approval of Guangdong Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security, Zhaoqing Technician College was established. Zhaoqing Municipal People's Government attaches great importance to the development of our school, and has listed the school construction in the "Top Ten Popular Projects of the City", and allocated 300 mu of land to build a new campus, which is planned to be completed and put into use in 2005.
