Liaoning normal students at public expense include Liaoning Normal University, Shenyang Normal University and Anshan Normal University.

Among them, Liaoning Normal University, referred to as "Liaoning Normal University", is located in Dalian, Liaoning Province. It is a "double-first-class" domestic high-level university in Liaoning Province, the implementation school of the "excellent middle school teacher training plan" project of the Ministry of Education, the training and continuing education base of basic education teachers in Liaoning Province, the research and consultation base of educational science, and the teacher training base of colleges and universities. It has developed into an economy, law, education, literature, history, science and engineering.

Liaoning Normal University was founded in September of 195 1 year, when it was first established as Lvda Normal College; April 1953, renamed Dalian Normal University; On July 1958, Dalian Normal University and dalian university of foreign languages merged to form Dalian Normal University. In July 1960, the school was renamed Liaoning Normal University; 1983 12 was renamed as Liaoning Normal University; 198 1 was approved as a master's degree awarding unit; 1998 was granted the right to confer doctoral degrees.

As of May 2022, the school has two campuses, huanghe road and Xishan Lake, covering an area of 2 100 mu.
