It mainly depends on the industry you are engaged in, which is basically as follows, but it is not absolute. Catia is the most expensive one, and the latter two are widely used in China and often used interchangeably.

An excellent high-end integrated mechanical CAD/CAE/CAM software developed by Unigraphics Solutions(UGS) Company of the United States was first applied to McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company and General Motors Company of the United States. UG is widely used in automobile industry, but many companies use Pro/E and CATIA.

3. Major/Engineer: Machinery, Electronics, Toys

Pro/ENGINEER is known as "the mechanical design software that shocked the industry and the most powerful mold design software in the century", and it is the largest 3D CAD software in the world. Pro/ENGINEER software is a new generation of CAD/CAE/CAM software introduced by PTC, an American parametric technology company, which has the characteristics of feature-based, full parameter, full correlation and single database. Since its launch, it has been widely welcomed by people in the industry because of its powerful functions, and has quickly become one of the most popular CAD software in the world today. From the mid-1990s, many large domestic enterprises began to choose Pro/ENGINEER. Up to now, they have a considerable user base.
