With the improvement of people's living standards, more and more domestic garbage is produced, and garbage power generation comes into being. Garbage power generation can turn waste into treasure, which not only makes full use of the calorific value of garbage, but also uniformly treats the harmful components produced by combustion through the flue gas treatment system, reducing environmental pollution. However, garbage has low calorific value and is not easy to burn, which leads to unstable combustion of boiler. The stable combustion of circulating fluidized bed boiler just solves this problem, so circulating fluidized bed garbage generator set has gradually become the mainstream way of garbage power generation.

In order to meet the training needs of operators of circulating fluidized bed waste-to-energy generators, Tianjin Electric Power Company Training Center cooperated with Tsinghua University to develop the first domestic 15MW circulating fluidized bed waste-to-energy generation simulation system. The system has the characteristics of advanced modeling tools, high simulation accuracy and good real-time, which can be used not only for the training of operators, but also for the analysis and research of this new type of power station, and has high research and practical application value.
