Xiamen Ocean Vocational and Technical College
It is a full-time general higher vocational college organized by the Fujian Provincial People's Government, a construction unit of Fujian Province's demonstration higher vocational colleges, a construction unit of Fujian Province's innovation and entrepreneurship education demonstration colleges, and a demonstration modern vocational college in Fujian Province.
Xiamen Ocean Vocational and Technical College was founded by Mr. Chen Jiageng on 1920, and has gone through the stages of running schools, such as Jimei School Fisheries Department, Jimei Advanced Fisheries Navigation School, Jimei Fisheries College and Fujian Jimei Fisheries School. Approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government in 2003, it was upgraded to Xiamen Marine Vocational and Technical College. 20 12 has been recognized as the construction unit of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Fujian province.
