1. Find the setting menu on the driving recorder. Usually, the setting menu of driving recorder can be accessed on the main screen or by pressing the key. You can use the up, down, left and right arrow keys or the scroll wheel to browse menu options.

2. Enter the password setting options. In the Settings menu, find the password setting option or similar name. You will be asked to enter your current password or authenticate.

3. Enter the current password. If a password is set, you need to enter the current password to modify it. If you forget the current password, you can refer to the instruction manual of the driving recorder or contact the customer service center to reset or unlock it.

4. Change the password. In the password setting options, select Modify Password, and then follow the on-screen prompts to enter a new password. Usually, the new password needs to meet certain requirements, such as length and character type.

5. Confirm the password change. After entering the new password, the driving recorder will ask to confirm the new password again. Please enter the same password again to confirm the modification.

6. Complete password modification. After confirming the new password, the driving recorder will save the new password settings. You can exit the setup menu and return to the home screen.
