Volunteer Work Plan of Shanghai Snooker Masters in 2007
I. Volunteer recruitment
In 2007, the Shanghai Snooker Masters needs to select about 70 outstanding college students from major universities in this city to participate in various volunteer services. Shanghai East Asia Sports Culture Center Co., Ltd., the organizer of the event, trained volunteers according to the requirements of the event and assigned them to established jobs according to their different characteristics.
Second, the training of volunteers
(1) Purpose and significance
Through the implementation of this training plan, we will spread the spirit of voluntary service among the students who signed up for the snooker Masters, popularize snooker knowledge and culture, build an excellent volunteer team, and improve the overall quality and service level of the staff in this competition. At the same time, explore the laws of volunteer service training in major sports events, make it develop in a scientific, institutionalized and professional direction, and provide useful reference for various large-scale sports and cultural activities in Shanghai.
(2) Working ideas
This training will focus on the work requirements of the snooker Masters, aiming at improving the theoretical level and practical ability of student volunteers. Through the standardized process of "recruitment-training-practice-assessment-reward", we attract student volunteers to join us in various forms of work. Advocate volunteers to learn useful things, focus on the future, accumulate social experience, enhance their own value, and lay a solid foundation for the smooth development of volunteer work in the Games.

2. Operation mode
According to the volunteer demand put forward by the heads of all departments of the Universiade Organizing Committee (see table 1). Under the guidance of the training consultant, the training coordinator will arrange the training content, class hours, assessment, reward and punishment plan of volunteers, and select suitable volunteers through training and arrange them to work in various competitions. After the competition, the organizing committee will evaluate or reward the volunteers.
(4) Training content
Relying on the professional guidance of WSL, aiming at the actual needs of volunteer work in various stages of the snooker Masters and based on the general knowledge of snooker volunteers, some special training contents are appropriately added, including:
1, snooker related knowledge training:
Snooker culture, general knowledge of snooker, including the production process, development history, current scale, business situation, related processes of holding snooker, etc. Snooker competition rules, appreciation methods, etc. ;
2, volunteer service knowledge training:
The basic knowledge and ideas of volunteers, including the basic concepts, basic theories, theme spirit, development forms and experience reference of international volunteer service, and the introduction of advanced personal experience of volunteer service.
3, civilized etiquette knowledge training:
Basic etiquette knowledge and concepts, including the basic concepts of civilized etiquette, daily civilized language and code of conduct; Professional etiquette knowledge and code of conduct, including concierge reception, public relations norms, etc. , as well as the etiquette norms and requirements of snooker volunteers;
4. National cultural knowledge training:
Mainly in Britain, learn about the cultural knowledge of different countries and nationalities in the world, including customs, cultural customs and living habits, common etiquette, civilized language and etiquette norms of various countries, and behavioral taboos of various countries;
5, foreign language knowledge and skills training:
The basic professional use of snooker, the daily language needed for the game;
6, post common sense training:
Basic post knowledge and concepts, including basic concepts, basic requirements, personal responsibility consciousness, cooperation consciousness, etc. Teamwork
(v) Training methods
1, self-study related materials
Distribute relevant materials to volunteers and ask them to learn through self-study.
2. Teaching by professionals
1) The professionals of the snooker contest (such as the person in charge of the foreign party or the people of Shanghai billiards association) introduced all kinds of related matters and tournament requirements of this snooker contest.
2) The Youth League Committee of the Sports Bureau or its teachers mobilize all volunteers to explain the requirements, purpose and significance of volunteer service.
(6) Evaluation method
1. Anyone who meets the following conditions will be awarded the "2007 Snooker Shanghai Masters Volunteer Qualification Certificate" by the Organizing Committee:
1) Attend all training courses and working meetings, and don't be late, leave early and be absent without reason;
2) Actively, actively and conscientiously complete their own service work.
2. Anyone who meets the following conditions will be awarded the "Excellent Volunteer Certificate of Shanghai Snooker Masters 2007" jointly by Shanghai Sports Bureau, Shanghai East Asia Sports Culture Center Co., Ltd. and WSL:
1) Attend all training courses and working meetings, and don't be late, leave early and be absent without reason;
2) Actively, actively and conscientiously complete their own service work, with outstanding performance, which is well received by the organizers or contestants;
3) Be good at finding problems or contradictions in work, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions, so that contradictions and problems can be satisfactorily solved;
4) After the competition, submit personal work summary and feelings of participating in volunteer work in written form.
3. The merits and demerits of volunteers' performance are recorded in the Youth League Committee and the employment offices of major universities, which will serve as an important reference for the selection of volunteers for various volunteer service projects in the future, and will be linked to other school assessments as appropriate.
