Hebei Open University, formerly known as Hebei Radio and TV University, was founded in 1978. It is the only open university in Hebei province that uses computer courseware, network, radio, television, text and audio-visual teaching materials for distance education. It is a provincial undergraduate university directly under the Education Department of Hebei Province.

Teaching construction

At present, the college offers 13 majors, including computerized accounting, marketing, enterprise management, human resource management, legal affairs, project cost, project supervision, construction engineering technology, computer information management, decorative art design, youth work and management (preschool education direction), investment and financial management, and electromechanical integration technology.

The college consists of office, academic affairs office, teaching department, student affairs office, security office, Youth League Committee, skills training center, teaching support service center and logistics service center.
