What textbooks do you need to take the CPA exam? Can I take the exam if I'm not an accounting major?
1. There are six subjects in the professional stage examination for certified public accountants: accounting, auditing, financial cost management, corporate strategy and risk management, economic law and tax law. Therefore, the CPA exam needs the following textbooks: Unified Examination Guidance Textbook for Certified Public Accountants (complete set of 6 volumes), which is compiled by China Institute of Certified Public Accountants and published by China Financial and Economic Publishing House every March. The titles of the six books are: accounting, auditing, financial cost management, corporate strategy and risk management, economic law and tax law.
