What are the training methods and certification standards for police dogs in China?
Generally speaking, the training of police dogs begins with five basic steps.

The first is affinity training, making friends with dogs and making relatives.

Followed by obedience training, common sitting, standing and lying all belong to this category.

Then there is the accompanying training, which is to ensure that police dogs follow your steps when patrolling and will not run around screaming because of new things.

Then there is intense training. Soft pet dogs can't be police dogs. In fact, domestic police dog training draws on many American training skills.

Finally, bite training.

The training of police dog technical practitioners in China can be roughly divided into professional college training and self-made specialized training unit training, which is very similar to the training methods abroad.

German police dog training methods:

In Germany, police dogs are mainly divided into two categories for training. The first category is ordinary guard dogs, and the second category is special dogs such as poisonous dogs and explosive dogs.

The training time of guard dogs is usually 55 days, which is divided into three stages: stage A, 20 days, stage B 15 days, and stage C, 20 days. The training contents of the three stages are mainly search, obedience and escort, and each stage can be carried out in parallel, but each stage must pass the corresponding examination to enter the next stage, and only when all three stages pass the examination can they truly become police dogs.
